“Demi” debuts at #1 in Canada

Demi Lovato picks up her first Canadian number one album as “Demi” (Universal) debuts at the summit of the Top Albums chart with 11,000 copies sold, her best one week sales total to date. All three of her previous releases debuted in the top ten, with her last album, 2011’s “Unbroken,” reaching No. 4 with 7,700 first week sales, her previous best total. The album’s first single, “Heart Attack,” currently sits at No. 8 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, while a second song, “Really Don’t Care,” debuts at No. 72.
